For me, creating drawings and graphics is sinking deep into my soul to release tension and energy. Łódź is the source of my memories and experiences. I like its old buildings. Tenement houses which elevations have rich adornments and the poverty of courtyards attract my attention a lot. The city is full of contrasts: renovated facades and almost collapsed units are visible components of the Łódź landscape.

The character of Łódź architecture has been intensified by a patina over time. Mossy greenish walls cut with damp patches, rust coming from pipes, bricks looming up from under plaster walls, missing fragments which broke away from tenements all give her colors. The form of buildings is not only interesting, but also its contents. The insides of tenements and cells often hide over 100 years of history.
